Running a tourism or events business means you’re always juggling what’s happening today with planning for the future. The Tourism Business Capability Subsidy is here to help make that a little easier.

This subsidy offers up to $2,000 to eligible Queensland tourism and event businesses to support targeted training or accreditation that builds skills, confidence and capability. Whether you’re a sole trader or a small to medium-sized business, it’s designed to help you strengthen your business and enhance the experiences you deliver to visitors.

The program supports a wide range of industry-recognised training and accreditation, delivered by trusted tourism organisations, with a focus on practical skills that make a real difference on the ground. From sustainability and accessibility to sales, guiding and risk management.

Applications close 30 September 2026 at 5pm (or earlier if funding allocation is exhausted prior).
